You can join the St. Maarten Golf Association for about $50.00 a year. They do have a website and it gives you discounted green fees and they have monthly golf tournaments for charity and there is a large group who are members. They have the OPEN in May, I think, and they also schedule away golf to other islands like St. Kitts & Anguilla.

I love La Petite Auberge des Isles at Marina Royale in Marigot. They have a price fixe menu that is always delicious! Some newer restaurants: Spiga- Grande Case Spicy- Grande Case Bajatzu- Maho Peg Leg has moved over to PDP.

Ok, I recently read on another board the de-salinated water dissolves your bones and teeth-(which older females don't need), and that we need the minerals in bottled water. So the #10 question is, "Is this true? Has anyone heard of this?" I drink bottled water on the french side, but use tap water for ice & coffee. Oh, and thank you Philippe, for the translation--I think

I love those french green beans (Haricot Vert). Available at US Imports and Grande Marche. We usually have salads if we eat in: Lettuce or Spinach, Onions, green peppers, good tomatoes if we can get them. Avocado. Oh and leeks, too. That's our usual veggie shopping list.
