I also got one. Don't you have to register to send a PM? If registered, I hope Gert can block them.

Getting around? Rent a car. Snorkling? Pinel Isle, Little Bay, Orient, Creole Rock. There are also some great day boat excursions to good snorkle spots, lunch & drinks included. Where to stay? A condo in Simpson bay is perfect. Fly fishing? Well, ya got me there. Lots of peope fish off the rocks along Marigot harbour. Some fish for tarpon in the lagoon. Wine? Ah yes, great wines to be

We do the big stock up at grande marche, but I love US Imorts & Match for those gourmet goodies. They have wonderful cheese and charcuterie.

See previous post from John. The church on Front St. is closest to the pier. The phone number is listed and it says 8:00 Sunday Mass. Chiristmas Day may be an other story.

Check your spam folder? Sometimes they don't reply, but the car is waiting for you when you arrive. It might be better to just call them direct at this point. Otherwise, there may be 2 rental people waiting for you at the airport.

So Sorry, Philippe. Please don't act on your anger right now. He is so not worth it. Hopefully, with time, you will only harbour great memories of your precious Bobby Lee.

St. Kitts has a reasonable golf course. Fly over in am and return pm. Flight is cheap, but the taxes are killer! Play Mullet. It's a fun layout with bushy greens, but it works for us. Google St. Maarten Golf Association for more info.

We usually buy fresh fish at the Marigot Market on Wed & Sat mornings. Must get there early for the best selection. Prices are very reasonable for mahi, trigger fish, snapper.

I have posted questions on 2 boards many times. (I usually get the correct answers here, though.) I am sorry if it becomes redundant for some, but it helps me get the information I need.

With her markings, she should be easy to spot. I agree with putting an ad in the Herald. You might reach more residents. And post pictures in the grocery stores, too! Good Luck! I hope you get her back.

I would also be interested in this topic. I usually get my stuff from Kwik Bargains in P'Burg. It is more Walmart than European...

The 4 wheelers that I have seen on SXM are very large! And they are not always going off road. I've seen jet skiers at Orient Don't really know of age limitations. Best to have grampy check it out when he is next in SXM.

While I have never heard of such a thing, if we were ever in a position like that where we felt the least bit uncomfortable, we would definitely stop at the nearest refuge. Better safe than sorry.

Pinel is one of our favorite days! We take a small cooler with water, beer, etc. We love Karibuni for fresh fish. Lobster pulled right out of the water! They also have nice ribs, chicken, and great shrimp kabobs. Mike usually has a beer or two and I have a glass or two of wine. Entrees are about 14-35 Euros. There are 2 other restaurants there. The one in the middle has the best prices, but w

cj, There are many bakeries on the island that have wonderful little pastry cakes. I am sure you could order one from Le Sucriere or Serefinas in Marigot. I also think that Grande Marche in Cole Bay has a bakery dept. Perhaps, someone else can halp you with Dutch side bakeries. Happy Anniversary, Tara

Mullet is one of our favorite beaches, too. The trash in January was awful. Mostly back in the bushes area as you approach from the parking lot. Maybe next time we will organize a clean up, lemon drop, whatever party!
