The weather has just been great, as our trip so far also. And today, Sunday, looks like another great beach day!!!

Well, half of our trip is over, and things have been great. The weather has just been perfect, and it looks like it will be the same today. Sunny, a few clouds, small breeze. So far, we've spent all our days on Orient, right near the Perch. Days consist of morning on the beach, Perch happy hour, lunch at Baywatch, afteroon on the beach, happy hour at Papagayo's. AA #667 was FULL on Monday. And we are talking summer season on a week day. Just looked on AA.com, and #667 is full today, tomorrow, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.... Orient Beach right now is similar to every August. I think it is the other way around. For every person that is deciding not to return, quite a few more are going. Not every visitor of the island frequents these message boards.

I hope so too. Good or bad, SSBB is kind of an institution as far as i'm concerned. Beach bars have come and gone, but the SSBB was always there. I'm sure every first timer to the island had "visit SSBB" on their list...

Not everyone has purchased with option to use other than in SXM......And i'm sure people didn't purchase a timeshare to drive 30 minutes from home to use... Renting a hotel or villa, i can just stop going. Owning a timeshare in SXM, well, that limits the options. Still accountible for maintenance fees and cost of purchase
