Well, the whole point is that they're "oldies". I'm sure BettNan enjoyed it, enormously. Does your "New Orleans Funk Scene" have anything to do with recruiting volunteers for mud removal from nude beaches in southern LA.? There's something you're not telling us...

In other words, you've found a reason to get rid of something you personally don't want to read, once again. We're sure that "rickandGrace" don't appreciate your double standards. What difference does it make where it's going? There's nothing obviously offensive or obscene to the average reasonable person in this thread. Don't read it... If

Well, it's supposed to be a bulletin board. There was no good reason to freeze the thread. There were a multitude of threads about the former owner of the Sunset Beach Bar and no one seemed to have a problem with that. But then, you didn't like him.

Oops, almost forgot. Here's a big discount sale, ironically, by Ticketmaster. This is a rare occurrence and usually Ticketmaster isn't the way to go. Summer is a slow period which accounts for this sale, but it looks like a good one. Edited to add: On the other hand, after rereading your post, I guess you're going in January and not this summer. :-)

It isn't a black n' white situation as some may have us believe. The truth is, the moderators way "over do it". There are some who have lunch with the moderators when they're on the island and they don't see it that way. To choose a thread that's an obvious example of disruption for an example of why there are frozen and deleted threads is misrepresentati

Will they send the recovered items C.O.D.? Did they offer? Will they hold these items until you visit the island again? Actually, it's remarkable that they not only followed up on your case, but they prosecuted without your being available for a court appearance. I'm guesing that they arrested and prosecuted this person in connection with another case. Maybe they raided this

Hi Kim. Happy to hear everything is going well at the Towers. It really is a timeshare success story. Yes, the Cirque show "LOVE" gets great reviews, go for it. The Mirage just completed a major interior renovation and the resturant "STACK" everyone seems to like, try it. Don't forget the "$20 trick" at check-in at the Mirage for a possible free upgrade to a

Hi, Spike. Haven't even read this board in some time, Vegas!, you know. Yes, I've neglected my deep rooted island instincts and really should get back to the Caribbean, again. What happened to Neil Rooney? (PM me, if necessary) Pat? Kim? Is my old pal AllenB still around? Wonder what his position is on immigration. (lol) Bobcat must be a moderator somewhere by now, no?

Seriously doubt it'll look like a warehouse. Unless you just look it from a balloon. And why would anyone want to see the hotel to be destroyed by a hurricane? All the villas etc. would also be destroyed, not to mention the beach itself. Plus, the hotel would probably be in ruins for sometime and that wouldn't help the beach experience, if there's a beach at all.

Well, they're obviously way behind schedule, what's new. I think everyone will be surprised at how good it looks when it's completed. Landscaping makes a gigantic difference, and that's the last thing to be done. Even a few days from the opening date there'll a big difference in appearance from when a project like this is cleaned up and totally finished. I've s

But, where on the thread was it established that Tabba Khady inflated the prices to compensate for the $1=1 Euro pricing? Until it can be demonstrated that this restaurant has higher prices than similar restaurants without the 1 for 1 feature, it's more logical that Tabba Kahdy offers the 1 for 1 deal to attract customers. Tabba Khady's not putting a service charge on the bill wou

An ambitious schedule, and your research seems to have paid off rather well. I think most people don't get to St. Barts or Anguilla/Shoal Bay until sometime after a few trips. I'm guessing, from spending time exploring the island that you saw a few spots that you'd like better than the Flamingo for the next trip.

I'd study a map beforehand, and rent a car...hard to get lost on an 8 sq. mile island.
