I agree and I am so happy for him! He always puts his whole heart into whatever he does and follows through so I truly hope that the owners see his accomplishments and gives him the credit he is due. It is a risk changing anything but from what I see, as long as his chefs follow through to his command, the place should do a brisk business with the wide variety of foods from light to extraordina

Ingredients: 1 bag of Mixed Baby Greens (Mesclun Greens) 1 small can Mandarin Oranges drained 1/2 cup of sliced almonds a sprinkling of sugar Dressing: 2 tablespoons of a good balsamic vinegar 1 tablespoon of Maille Honey Dijon mustard (no other mustard will do and it mu

Hi Sylvia, this is definitely the old terminal building. If you look to the middle left of the photo, you will see a small yellow building with 2 doors and 4 windows. That was a part of the old terminal.

You can get massages at either Friars or Orient Beach. I would prefer Friars only because it's a smaller, quieter beach but still has the amenities to keep us happy all day. There are massage therapists all around the island but you do need appointments at the more established places like in Maho so being that you'll be stopping only for the day, I would recommend getting one at one

I LOVE your enthusiasm!!!!! You have it pegged to a tee. All things in my office at work: My background image is the one of the plane shooting over the Maho beach, I play Reggae music all day, I have a mini slideshow going all day of our lastest trip to the island, I have SXM kachkees all around, and at home there are more photos of the island on my walls of the house than artwork and I'm a

I'm definitely too much of a newbie to answer those questions! I guess when people start asking questions like, Do you remember when the new airport was built, I'll be able to chime in... And PS... the weather out here today makes me think we're on the island right now! Most everybody on the east coast is probably in their pool, in someone elses pool, or out there digging a poo

Thought I'd add a few more shots although my apologies that they aren't sunsets... some of the photos have been "watercolored" for effect. Would love to see other photos added so please keep them coming...>< especially if Crystal and Beau magically appear....

That was hysterical! They would have to pay my husband if it went by weight!!! But also a good advertising ploy to generate more viewers to their actual ads.... Thanks for sharing.

I would recommend that you bring some spray and lather up. They do sell something called Mosquito Milk on the island so that's worth investing in as well. I have heard that works really well. They also sell repellant so if you forget, don't worry...you can buy it in any grocery store. The early mornings and sunsets are the worst times for no-see-ums. I rarely get bit but when I do

Just out of curiosity since I am not familiar with this, does this mean that the Dutch side of SXM is not part of the Eurpoean Union? Maybe Philippe, you can clue us in. And thank you Monika for clarifying your situation. It makes things easier to help you if we can. And yes Philippe you are so right. Learning a second language at that age is painless. Not like me who has been trying for 3

There are Remax realtors on the island that may be able to assist you. I believe they are on both sides of the island. If you need an e-mail address, I can provide you with one and a person you can speak to. They would most definitely help in your search.

No, actually Baie Rouge is a very expansive beach that people like to go to. I've been there just to see the beach and although it is pretty, I just don't seem to like it as much as the other beaches. Some people have made note of the sand sometimes being hard to walk through and many times people have said that the water conditions were too rough. I am not saying that Baie Rouge
