I too was scared to go to Sapphire when I went in June because of the negative reports. That being said I ended up enjoying my stay. It is not anything like a 4 or 5 star resort but you should enjoy your stay as well.

Not sure if you are being sarcastic or not? That selection for $84 you are talking about (which my wife and I have ordered) is for 2 people. The rest of the prices are from $20 to $53 which comes pretty close to what we pay here in the USA, where beef is more accessible. Best steak I have had...bar none.

That is crazy! I was going to try and have them rent mine out next year but now forgot about it! I would keep hounding them until something happens or maybe you can either withhold your maintenance fees or tell them that the rental will cover the fees for the next few years. I wish I had a better suggestion.

We stayed at the Sapphire from June 18-25th. Our room was nice, a bit of a musty smell when we first arrived but once the AC was turned up it was better. The pool area and restaurant were both good in my opinion. I am not sure where the complaints are coming from unless it was because we stayed in tower 3 which is the newest tower. Hi everyone, I just found this site today. My wife and I will be heading back to the island in June. We have a timeshare at Sapphire but haven't been back in years (been doing the RCI deals). We have seen quite a few negative remarks about the resort in the past few years but we don't remember it that way. Has it gone down hill Can anyone share some truth about Sapphire? Thanks!
