I am in the Financial business so I had CNBC on in my office. They interruped an interview with Bill Nygren, a fund manager to report the hit of the 1st plane. y son had just passed under the WTC on the subway on his way to ork in lower Manhattan. A building so close that if the WTC had fallen over like a tree it could have fallen into his building. My wife works a block from the White House.

I think the cameras are a great idea. Renting them is a low risk way to try it out and the leasors must think it will work and rent will continue. What are the people who object to this surveillance up to that they don't want on tape?

We use a phone card from the hotel. We bought one for 15 Euros that was supposed o be good for 3 months that was 3 years and 8 visits ago. We were still using it as of November 2007!

We have used AAA many times and they have been very good. My cars have always been good even if the don't have what I booked when I arrive. They always have something nice at a good and fair (relative to what I get price). A few things to remember: Don't try to get the best nicest car. Anyone, including a rental agency, will be extra fussy about what it looks like when you return
