Does anyone know If the Pasanggrahan hotel is still open for business. Their web site appears to be down when i attempt to make reservations. The last time I stayed there they were remodeling and I wonder if this caused them to go out of business.

On my last visit in April someone attempted to break into the rental I was driving. The car bore rental plates (rented on the Dutch side). This resulted in an out of pocket deductable cost to me. My question is, can I rent a car on the island that that does not have rental plates.

I will be visiting in late April and will be renting a car but If I want a taxi in the early evening hours to dine and have a few adult beverages will they pick-up and return to the lowlands. Additionally what is the approximate cost to phillipsburg
