Philippe Great summary on concession, but I wonder about your reference to 50 feet - "It is 50 feet above the highest water mark on the sand." Is not traditional French law that it is the 50 "steps of the King" the "pas geometriques" - which was codified at 81.50 meters? (Pull out one of your old law books...you know that you really wanted to practice law!)
