it's getting expensive...(rant)

I can't believe how much the prices have gone up on the island. Obviously the hire car has gone up but I didn't think that with it being a duty free island that alcohol especially could be so expensive. $4 for a Heineken in Simpson Bay, one bar had craft beer and I thought I would try it - $14!!!! Even the food - the Lolo's are great eat & drink for max $15 per head but the rest - Grand Case - min $50 a head each time we went out, Maho the same. I get paying more for food on the French side as it tends to be much much better but the Dutch side has started charging $18 a burger! Also the activities: boat tours, jetski's, held ride, all minimum $100 a person!! BTW there are 5 of us...
