why oh why is this forum not used. there hasnt been a post in over a month. has everyone gone to ttol. i used to like this forum better.any answers?

Aside from the other answers you've been given, Facebook and TTOL, the fact remains this site is checked periodically and if a question is asked, a response will generally follow when possible if actual knowledge or information is available. But I don't think it's ever been a chitty chatty board - that wasn't why it was started anyway. I'm glad it's here and that Gert keeps it alive. I know I check it periodically, and I am also on Facebook (not very much) and TTOL often.

I still log in two or three times a week. This is the BEST place for real info about SXM. Barb and Philippe know SXM. Elaine is very active on SXM.
It has gotten quiet here though.

We found out about this forum from SXM Norm and we too check in often. Other than having questions about Guadeloupe...nobody seems to have any info ...and wanting to find out if Bernadine at View Point made it through the SXM hurricane okay....also nobody seems to know..we have few questions but we check in weekly anyway.

Bruce Spring I have sent an email the other day to Paradise View, and I haven't gotten a reply yet in regards to Bernadine, the little shops or the restaurant.

To everybody that was concerned about Bernadine, she is fine, she had some water in her apartment but had brought all her critters inside Her rum place was fine as was Paradise View restaurant and shops. Bernadine left the island yesterday to go to Trinidad for two weeks. It is very heartwarming to me to see how many people love her as much as we do. The island is looking good and the french side is definately working hard to get back to the way it was. As always it is paradise.

Glad to hear Bernadine and her critters made it through the storm okay.We heard from Sandy Molloy (Molloy Travel) that Bernadine was fine and had gone home to Trinidad for a visit.
Now if Judy and I could just find a member who can give us info on Guadeloupe.
