yes.. just use common sense, don't stop along side the road in the dark deserted area....

And as an added precaution, because things often look so very different at night, it's not a bad idea to check out your route during daylight, along with the various parking options depending on where you're going. Basically this is not a bad idea for any place on the island if you're not 100 percent sure of where you're going.

Right, B, and on SXM it also helps you to identify the huge potholes and 'sleeping policemen' ie - speed bumps, to at least give you a headsup there are some or none of either along your route.
