Don't expect any reliable information from the monitors of this board - they are on island and very protective - so much so they delude the truth. So very sad.

yes the board has died BUT the monitors, even though they are on the island are able to answer most questions and i do not believe over protective. even if they were others who are not on the island but have visited Many times ,are able to answer also. they only gripe with monitors that i have is their selective deleting with things they dont approve of.the board is to ask questions about the island.i think that might be one reaso that there is now little activity on the board i have not experienced any ill advised messages from the monitors, think they are very knowlegeable but do no like the immediate deletion of other things . i do believe that ALL advertising should be deleted immediately.

Come on, 'Casual Observer'! So untrue! We led a lot slide by. We only frown upon blatant advertising.

I personally know one of the moderators - and they do not hide or mask any truth. Just clarify facts when needed. As far as deleted advertisements - or totally irrelevant postings - I applaud them.

ah, not sure the point of this post, ask a question and it will be answered, are you suggesting we start chit chat threads just to say we have been here??

It seems a little unreasonable to criticize the board for being "dead' when, in fact, the activity of the board is directly related to members contributing in one way or another.In other words instead of criticizing put fingers to keyboard and start an interesting topic...make a comment or reply to a posting. The board is just like your computer...nothing in...nothing out!
AND... as for the moderators I'd be willing to bet they are unpaid volunteers who think enough of SXM and this board to donate their time and effort.

Yes, it's quiet sometimes, but there are other boards that give the information I need to see.
