Best Islands in the World

We all know that St.Maarten/St.Martin is the best island in the world.

Let's vote for St.Maarten to make it the #1 island on the US News "Best Islands in the World" ranking. Now it is #9

Saint Martin has a land area under the sovereignty of France,[1] and 34 km² under the sovereignty of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
The main cities are Philipsburg (Dutch side) and Marigot (French side).

For all you people bent on getting SXM voted as number one island..a word of caution. SXM gets voted #1..everybody in the world knows about it and decide to visit. Phillipsburg becomes so congested neither people nor car traffic can move.
Lodgings are all full so the up their prices,,,pubs don't have "happy hour" because they have more customers than they can handle., and finding even a square foot of beach to plunk down on becomes impossible. .
Get a grip here folks...we call it paradise because it's not jammed chockablock with noisy tourists.
Am I being greedy and selfish...YES Am I willing to share NO!!!

Okay, another vote for St Martin/St Maarten.

Noticed that St. Martin/St Maarten has far n' away the most votes of all the islands on the list for: "belongs on the list." So, it comes in first for fan-enthusiasm.
