It's very pleasant here of late. There really are times when no news is the best news of all.

I don't know why you saw fit to continue this SOB ~ vs ~ TTOL nonsense but omgoodness, can't we all just get along without any mentioning of 'other' chat sites in a negative manner? IMO, for what that's worth, it's childish and beneath you and it just opens things up to more controversy.

You dubbed me The Voice of Reason a long time ago- I didn't ask for that title and never thought of myself as such but you gave it to me anyway as I recall, so please, please think about it.

We still check here now and again.
Hasn't been the same since Dickie and Ed (evil Ed) left.
Just got back from the island July 21. Spent (2) weeks there. Nice to see Mullett cleaned up. Island has seemed alot busier the last 2 years. We always come in July.

right now the gardener and I are inn Amsterdam, after a crusie through the Baltic for 2 weeks.
I finally have internet that works.
Cruise ships do NOT have good internet and it is expensive.
Glad to see you are all still here.

Congratulation to Bill & Philippe, but for some reason I thought I'd read on Philippe's blog some yrs ago that they were married in NY. Whether it was some time ago, or more recently, I still wish them all the best, they're wonderful people, whom I met many, many, years ago when they owned the little bakery on Billy Folly Road.

Double-D, just tell them it's the quality, not the quantity that counts.

Also, censoring "topic discussion" of various and differing opinions isn't all that friendly, either.

Note: this forum is still here, and no one evaporated into thin air because of past, lively discussions, but they do remember them.

So, what does that tell you? It tells that they enjoyed the banter and, "too nice," bored them away.

Actually, there should be "spam weeders," yes. Moderators, no.
