I've said this to you privately but I want to say it publicly, too. I do so enjoy reading your blog.

I don't seem to get to follow it lately on a regular basis as much as I used to, (but that's okay because it seems like you don't get to blog nearly as much either,) but when I do, you/it often make me smile and sometimes I laugh out loud; and there are times when I get angry (not usually with you, my friend,but at the topic of the moment...) and there are even the occasional times when I want to cry over some of the topics you bring to light.

Don't stop the Carnival, B - it really is a good cold dose of island reality all the time.

And you have my deepest sympathies re the iguanas in the pool. We had a little garden snake in ours once and it took Kim and a friend to finally get the thing out, though I think her friend was truthfully of little help at all in the end. And for the next month I was totally leery of leaping before I looked.

So anyhoo - keep up the good words, B. They really are enjoyable.

i didnt think there were any snakes in st martin as they brought oppossums in years ago to kill them all.

Don't think Pat said there were snakes on SXM. Her pool is elsewhere. And they brought in mongoose, not possums, to clear the snakes.

But, our dog has more toys than her dog - that are out - and many others stored to replace those.
