My almost-Christmas Story

I posted this yesterday on another phorum and don't know why I didn't put it here then but it's never too late to share a happy thought....

While driving home this afternoon on our local interstate, I had the opportunity to witness and be a part of perhaps one of the most beautiful sights I've ever experienced - a double rainbow with some of the most vibrant and alive colors you could imagine.

The inner (smaller?) rainbow was absolutely breath-taking and the outer (larger?) was pretty, too, though not quite as vibrant as the inner one.

But here's the part that was incredible to me - I actually drove through it at the 'end of the rainbow' if you will, and once I passed through those brilliant colors it was totally behind me.

I don't know if you're getting the picture but it was absolutely awesome and one of the few times I honestly and truly wished I had a camera handy, which is a reference only my kids will get.

Oh, and for those who wonder - there was no 'pot of gold' but all the colors as I drove through them did have a hazy golden tinge.

Merry Christmas Everyone and I hope all your days are vibrant rainbow days.

Respectfully,

pat

its just as much fun reading it the second time as it was the first.
absolutely wonderful and magical. I can't imagine driving through a rainbow.
It has to mean good luck for you and your family, Pat

Barbara,

I have to tell you - it was like magic, and if - as you suggest - it means good luck for me and my family, I sincerely hope that luck or magic or whatever we might call it, extends to everyone I come into contact with, be that in real time or in cyber-space.

Merry Christmas, Everyone.

Respectfully,

pat
