shipping agents

Can anyone recommend a good shipping agent? I have to find someone to receive my container and take my boat out and place in the water

Tropical or Caribtrans... but your shipping agent at your port of departure is the one who should be in charge of that no?

Hello and thanks for the quick response, I have been told i need to find a shipping agent to receive my merchandise here and clear customs etc. There does not seem to be a full service company as i am shipping a boat instead of pallets of merchandise or something much more common. Thanks for the recommendations I will give them a call

I would not be so quick to hire any shipping agents for many are scammers.

We use Four Star Cargo out of Miami. Have been using them for years. Very reliable. Google Four Star Cargo and you can find them. Ask them the questions you need answered. It is called Safe Cargo here in St. Maarten. Clem
