Biggest Darn Cruise Ship I have ever seen

I just peeked in on the Villas web cam to see how beautiful it is on the island. The camera shot was just about taken up with the biggest darn cruise ship I have ever seen. I think it is the Norwegian Epic.. and I do believe it is EPIC. Sorry I don't now how to post a screen shot but trust me it is LARGE!!! Would hate to see the traffic right about now!

It looks like the camera is zoomed in on it; you can usually see the beach.

Oasis came in at 5:30 this morning. Looks like all the strong, very strong wind we had the other night moved the webcam. I'll have to see about having it moved back. As for the Epic yesterday...strangest looking ship I've ever seen.

It's ok now Barbara and now you can see all the sand piled up. We have had a bulldozer on the beach the past couple of days making mountains and mountains of sand. I can see the water from my unit but the other units can only see the piles of sand. It is a big, big mess here starting from the Great Bay Hotel down past the Villas on Great Bay. Looks like there are going all the way down the beach.

thanks annie
it is better now
yes, I know the sand is piled up. there were large swells in the harbor from the tail of Tomas passing us.
I cannot tell yo how many times that boardwalk had to be cleaned up this season.
what a mess
and more rain on the horizon too

Well I have to admit I was wrong I think the Oasis is the Biggest Darn Cruise ship I have ever seen. and I also agree they are not attractive at all. IMHO i don't see the attraction to be on a ship that large...

The island has surely gotten it's fair share of rain and bad weather this year. I guess the piles of sand did help flooding in those areas.
The foliage and flowers are outstanding this year because of it but I guess it could have come in dribs and drabs instead of downpours like you are experiencing.
Could be worse...could be snow!

I was in downtown Miami a few months ago and noticed an apt. building sitting in the bay.
Could not believe it. It was EPIC.
It is incredibly ugly. Have seen it up close and far. Yuck.
Cheers not!

Saw her come in one day last week; Tuesday, I think. We went to Orient that day and it was already a zoo at 10 AM. We left and went to Friars. Tuesday and Wednesday are the huge cruiser days here. Oasis, which I believe is larger than Epic, comes in on Wednesdays.
