OK...here are the last of the photos I will post (there are plenty more on the website I will give you) and I will attach them all here because they are pretty identifiable, but just so fascinating:

PHOTO 1

PHOTO 2

PHOTO 3

PHOTO 4

AND FINALLY LAST BUT NOT LEAST

This last one is important because of the subject matter and once that is discovered why this photo is so important, I will reveal the source...

In the meantime, identify the first 4 photos and guess why the last is important...winking smiley

The top photos 1 -4 are truly very familiar places, one in particular has been in the news lately. 1, 3, and 4 are located in the same area of the island and the last one doesn't really have to do with a doctor but I will reveal that the last photo is one of the author of the book where I am getting these photos. He is the one next to the jeep and his co-worker standing to his left. He was a postal worker.

I am reading another book lately and you will laugh because I just read few minuts ago about old pictures and postcard from Guy Hodge and the book says (I quote) : "other color pictures by St Martiners are from the camera of Diederick Cannegieter van Romondt, a nephew of Diederick III, King of Tintamare..."
Per chance would someone know who is this guy????? grinning smiley

and the lady walking down the street with her back to the camera is a lady named Connor, from a well known st maarten family.
she was the lady who worked at the catholic school who made lunches for the catholic schoolchildren. Dee recognizes her from the back. We always said he was good with asses LOL
and yes the gardener is the nephew of the King of Tintamarre, who
"received many letters from Paris, Italy, and Germany, and some from heiresses who solicited a lifelong partnership with Mr. van Romondt to become 'queen' of a romance as well as Tintamarre."
He was well known for having many women in his house at Tintamarre. LOL smiling bouncing smiley

what book are you reading Philippe?/
