I well remember the Sea View Hotel with the Genip tree (used to love eating them). Stayed there in 1987. Wasn't the 'Rouge et Noir' Casino next door or nearby ? Maybe still is... ? What about Town House villas (I think that was the name, its been so long), down at the near end of Front street right at the T-junction. They used to owned by a guy called Ernest, and looked after by a very nice lady called... Ethleen ? I stayed there a couple of times as well during my younger budget conscious days. Someone said that those apts were sold to the Medical school to house students. Can't wait to return later this year and catch up on things.

I also remember Ed Nine510 and his hilarious back-and-forth posts with Dicky and others in the 90s, lol ! Good to see that you're still around. Any word on where Dicky is nowadays ? I also miss Tom (TJM) and all his interesting stories. Anyone know where he is too ? Some of his stories would be a nice chaser for the wonderful pics we've been enjoying lately.

Cheers,

M

Thanks very much for the updates Barbara.

No matter the year - whether today, or 10, 20 or 30+ years ago which is for how long many on this board have been visiting (if not actually living there - lucky you !!!), SXM has always been a paradise in one way or another.

Cheers,

M.
