That's a picture I have never seen before.

A friend of mine who lives here saw the picture and sent me an email, saying her husband K. has a funny story about that car.
here it is. I have no idea if it's true or a tale that has been carried down through the generations.

"K. has a story with that Car. It was owned by Dee's Grandfather or maybe a man in Middle Region.
When Kl's Great Grand Mother celebrated her 114th birthday, she was taken with this Car for a congratulatory ride from Zorg en Rust around the island. The next day, great grandmother died, she was so shocked from the ride."

True or island fable? we'll never know! LOL

Actually, it was part of that website I had shown you about a year ago that I found on the net. Fascinating photos and history of the island. Of course, now that I have written this, I can imagine everyone googling this and then any photo I posted would be answered within 2 seconds...LMAO...

Question? Where was this church/school's original location? Was it near or the same as where Mary Star of the Sea is now? Is there anything that remains today?

These photos are just wonderful. It is a good thing. But you know what would be even better. That all this could be preserved in a book and sold to benefit SXM Pride.
