Frankly speaking, and I do not know if this has been guessed already, but I believe this is mullet bay from building 90. What could be wrong is the year that was taken. may be that was taken in the 70's and used later.

Hi Enzo.

Mullet Bay was my guess by instinct when I first saw the pic. It seems too big for Maho. Although, I'm not familiar enough to recognize the distant details of background physical features, Mullet beach was the first thing that popped into my head.

we all thought it was Mullet at first. but through clever deduction we have ended up with a pretty confident opinion that it is Maho

well... you don't have many beaches in St Martin with Boulders alongs side of it already..so that was the first point.

Well it is pretty strange that if this was really taken in the 8os that you could see vegetation where he runway is supposed to be. On the other hand when you look at the proportion of the people on the beach it seems a much smaller beach than Mullet. I am confused now.
