Great Tips and Tricks worth sharing

UPDATE - Feb 27, 2010

Most US airlines will not allow you to check luggage more than 2 or 3 hours before the flight. Can you still check luggage REALLY early at SXM? That would be SO nice!

Please Papa,
if it is possible open a new thread on topics you are interested in, instead of bringing back up systematically 2 or 3 years old threads... It would make it easier for all the other members, so they won't have to go through 41 posts again to know what it is all about... I am spliting this one here again.
Thanks for understanding,

Kind Regards,
Philippe

good idea Philippe
the old threads really should not be resurrected.
anyone should feel free to start a new thread at any time.

now in answer to papa smoke's question, I do believe American airlines still allows you to check in early..not sure about the other airlines

GREAT tip for a smooth flight.

When you check in ask for a BULKHEAD seat, the row just behind first class.
These seats are not assigned until the day of departure, if you have a connecting flight get the bulkhead seats of that flight too.

These are exit row seats, usually only two wide with the divider wall in front of you, not another row of seats.

Papa, please heed what Philippe and Barbara said about opening old posts. It is getting to be a PITA.

Thx.
