Seems like an opportunity for someone with some acreage.

It is not an opprotunity, as camping is illegal.

and acreage would be much more beneficial in revenue by developping it versus using it for camping...

BUT...

There's always the Hyundai Hotel

Close the casino or Red Piano at 4 or 5 am. Catch the sunrise in your rented cooler equipped Hyundai....breakfast at McDonald's......Driftwood for a real soft beach chaise for a morning nap...bring sunscreen.....begin your day at noon.....repeat....

Yes..I know a few who do it.

On arrival they usually show PELICAN where it asks for place they're staying.

Livin the dream with a knapsack !

A coupon book would be a necessity...makes for a real short trip report !

( next trip I'm upgrading to a Yaris ! ) haha!

I would imagine it would make for a very unsafe situation of this island.

I've spent many nights at a campground on Jost Van Dyke. Right on the water. The best experience ever was when I knew that Keith Richards of the Rolling Stomes was in a cabin next to me. Ivan's, with an honor bar system is just great. A tent right ON THE BEACH, with no worries about being in a crowd for safety.

There are many islands in the caribbean that offer campgrounds, but then again as Tabby Khady acknowledged post, the one where he ask what year, this was when St. Martin was still a Caribbean island.

Now, what has it become, if more acreage means more development. Pretty soon the island will sink in the ocean from just the mere weight of said development. Just imagine what the traffic would be with more development. Getting thru NYC would be a short trip.

If Keith Richards, and company, are repeat visitosr to a campground on the beach on Josh Van Dyke, what does that say about you, Denis???????
