The first Pedros I remember didn't have electricity. They kept the beer in huge coolers. Pedros was located on the CO side of the rocks then. When Luis came through Pedros rebuilt on the other side of the rocks, added the bathrooms and then had electricity.

Club 0's operations weren't "limited" by 1980 at least there were all the "horseshoe"chalets plus the right on the beachfront ones plus of course Papagayo plus major cookout on Sundays. Can't remember oil lamps- think the electric had arrived by end 1980.

Just love these posts- they make me relize how old I am.

Incidentally, Orient was always nudie in that guests from Le Galion hotel came over to bare it all - long before the Brinks came,saw, & conquered.
