Tiago
it really is very difficult now to come to st maarten and find work. getting residency and work permits is very time consuming and difficult and expensive. and working without papers is dangerous because you could get picked up by Immigration any time.

If you don't follow the laws of the land and obtain the proper documentation you deserve to be "picked up".

Tiago, you have the correct attitude. Find out what is needed and follow through the legal and correct way. I hope St. Maarten does work out for you and you go with the approach to give back more than you take. It is a beautiful Island and even more beautiful people.

Boa Sorte. Sig seus senhos.
Sylvia
