Gazebo Resturant

smiling smileyBack about 10 + years ago, we were staying at the Pelican.

I remember a Gazebo resturant (forget where it was), sitting on an edge of the ocean. It looked directly out too the ocean.

I know it was destroyed by a hurricane and now I'm trying to remember where it is or if it ever got re-built.

Anyone remember it?

Planning to come back in 2010 and would like to find it.

My Wife says it was Hurricane Hugo.

I would like to find out what happened to this Resturant.

Hope to return next April and would like to find it.

I think that restaurant was part of the old Caveranseri. I forget the name but I'll never forget the view!!!!

10 years ago was Lenny not Hugo
Hugo was in 1989
and I think it was the restaurant at caravanserai the OP is referring to
but I don't remember when it was destroyed

NO, it has not, but that was a gorgeous spot.
sunset beach bar and grill is there now. it's a lively bar where people hang out to watch the planes come in.
