Is Cupecoy beach still nude-friendly?

We're pondering a quick trip to St Maarten in the Spring and have spotted a good deal for an apartment at the Wyndham in Cupecoy. We loved Cupecoy last year and had a great time there, getting umbrellas beer and food from Danny and his table-top bar. Is it still as nude-friendly now that the apartments are in place above the cliff?

Can someone tell me exactly how exactly to get to Cupecoy now that the new Villas are there? I would be coming from Mullet Bay area.

Drive thru Mullet - past Atlantis Casino, the Cliff, Rainbow Beach Club, Sapphire and Ocean Club. Where the road bends to the right after Ocean Club, go straight onto the dirt road. Once there, there are signs to the beaches.

Are the cliff boys still hanging around? We were there 4 or 5 years ago and they hung around gawking.

Wasn't a problem last summer ('08). The great thing was that no one bothered if you did or didn't. We were first timers and my wife wouldn't have done it had there been any oglers.

Our first time too but the wife really enjoyed after a day or two. The cliff boys turned on her with their huge size. They did not get close but they kind of hung around from a safe distance.
