Randy, I called St. Martin cable again and they have no plans as of yet to service Nettle Bay Beach Club, although I believe they are in Nettle Bay. I did see another cable company running cables in Sandy ground today. The company is MSR Cable and I called them and they are planning on being in Nettle Bay Beach Club in a few months. They are providing American TV. Have you heard of them?

Hi Clem: I have not heard of them. Before yu sign up. ask where they get the "feed". If it is Dish network, Check what you currently have, and compare.
Look forward to seeing you and Paulette on the 21st...Rastaman

If anyone is thinking of using Sky Caribbean , Direclink or anything Lyndon Webster is connected with i would think again . This is an email i received from him this morning after mentioning that i didn't know if i could wait as long as he said it would take to order the stuff , and i quote :
"Typical Englishman. Want to have your cake and eat it too. Just f**k off !" Then when i replied that i am indeed an Englishwoman , i got this message " And a bitch...thanks for the free pub...this is my hobby. I am now waiting on $86,000 bid from hotel in Jamaica. Not your $75 retainer."

Delightful customer service ! Go to Caribtech they will hook you up without the childish drama !

Oh and this is the latest one from Mr Webster ( although i will edit some of it out as it is very rude ) , "F**k off...I tried to pass you on to someone else but you just like many of the English drunk brawds I picked up in bars and f***ed. Just cant get rid of em.

Enjoy.

This man is an idiot .

If you are looking for a Dishnet installation. I use Carib Tech in Simpson Bay. They are very professional. I have the bill paid automatically from my credit card, so it doesn't matter where you are. You do need a US address and a New York address if you want the local channels( ABC,NBC,CBS). Clem

I'm thinking of getting a time share in the French section of the island and wanted to ask about satellite TV. What type of services are available and what is the cost? Can we get content from Dish network 119 and 110 so I can get my local channels from NY? I don't care about HD, just basic.

I have dish network and the local channel from NY. Contact Caribtech, they can sell you the system, set it up and install it.
But read also carefully the two post above yours and definitely avoid any company linked to Lyndon Webster, he is a crock, a thief and a very immoral person staining the reputation of people of this island...he should end up in jail IMHO

Kind Regards,
Philippe

Philippe, Thank you for the info and the warning. What would the whole setup cost us approximately and what are the monthly fees? I know you are not an installer, but I was hoping to get some info in advance.

I have Dish Network and I get the local NY channels also.
I used a local installer and then subscribed on my own direct with Dish Network, using my NY address.
If you go to Dish network home page, you can see their subscription prices.
I think I pay about $65 monthly for a basic package

I have been a long time subscriber to Dish Network and LOVE IT! However I am moving off island and wish to sell my satellite dish along with two LNB (for HD) and the switch. The dish is in very good condition and would come with a mounting post and all necessary hardware.

If anyone is interested or would like more information I can be contacted at:

Hi there, is there a way to get this service in Philipsburg? I live above Chesterfields in Dock Maarten. Using WTV right now, but they have a VERY limited number of Channels and about half of them are useless to me (spanish, indian, dutch....) I would love to have DirectTV/Dish
