As far as I know, you can get programming from DirecTV, DishNetwork (English and Spanish language) or CanalSatellite. With a bigger dish, you would theoretically also be able to receive other providers, including FTA and those catering to South America. Bell's satellite footprint / spot beams do not reach the Caribbean.

I believe that Dish/Bell require their accounts to have a US/CA billing address. Maybe someone else can epxand/correct as necessary...

We have Dishnetwork in our condo on the French side. I believe we have a 1.2 meter dish which picks up one satellite. Dishnetwork transmits using two satellites, so you have to either install two dishes, or pick one of them. Most of the local stations are broadcast on spot beams which are unavailable on the island.

We've selected the 110 degree satellite which carries most of the basic programming. To receive the broadcast stations (ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, PBS) we had to get a New York City address.

Stop by Carib Tech on the Airport road in Simpson Bay. They have Dish equipment and may be able to help you setup your account.
