lost/stolen dog of philippe's

I am sorry to report that Philippe arrived back from a glorious vacation and went to get his dog that he had left for boarding and found out the dog had been stolen.
here is Philippe's story in his own words..
How sad and ridiculous!
If any of you are on island please keep a look out for his dog.

Need help to find my stolen Dog

I need help to find my dog who was stolen yesterday morning (Sunday 9th of August) in front of Doctor Swanston Veterinarian Clinic in Cay Hill where I left her for boarding while I was off island !!!
It is a weird story and I'll pass on the detail, but apparently the vet staff attach the dogs outside on the "grass" next to the main road while they are cleaning their cage, with apparently some surveillance from someone at the counter inside the clinic, but yesterday unfortunately nobody was watching and someone stole "Bobby Lee"..

She is a medium size female dog, look alike a Britney Spaniel (see picture bellow) and she is very shy as well as sweet... she needs a lot of love and attention and is easily scared by people because she doesn't trust them since we found her on the street, abandoned and abused... She was with us for almost two years now, and we would like to find her back to continue to give her the good home and the love she deserves...

Please please please, pass this note to as many of your friend living on the island, on both sides to cover as much of the facebook St Maarten/St Martin network.
If you see this dog, if you saw her somewhere, on the side of a road, on a leash with someone, in a yard, or newly arrived in a home of one or your friend or else, please contact Dr Swanston at his clinic : (599) 542.0111 or (599) 557.1838, or contact me , Philippe Milovidoff on Facebook or at Captain Oliver's (0590.87.30.00) or please leave a message on one of this cell phone 0690.58.41.53 // (599)586.3434

or if you have my dog, please just bring it back to Dr swantson Clinic...
No Question asked !!!!
PLEASE HELP ME TO FIND "BOBBY LEE", BE A GOOD SAMARITAN, PASS THIS NOTE TO AS MANY PEOPLE YOU CAN KNOW ON THE ISLAND OF ST MARTIN/ST MAARTEN.
I have really no clue why someone would steal a dog from the front door of a vet clinic when there are so many to adopt.

Philippe, I am so sorry that some terrible, mean person stole your beloved Bobby Lee. I sincerely hope that she is returned to you immediately. Many, many years ago I had a dog stolen from my home so I can appreciate what you are going through now. We are all pulling for you and Bobby Lee.

Hugs, Annie

Barbara, Maybe a picture and story in the DH (lost dog) might help locate the dog.

How sad that someone would steal another's pet!
She is so adorable.
Philippe, hope you get her back quickly.

With her markings, she should be easy to spot.
I agree with putting an ad in the Herald.
You might reach more residents.
And post pictures in the grocery stores, too!
Good Luck!
I hope you get her back.

Philippe,

What a crummy thing to come home to. I hope by now there has been some word of your beautiful girl. Good luck and please keep us up-dated on her.

Respectfully,

pat

Philippe...if you read this, bring one of your other dogs with you when you search for her. She is more likely to come if you have a friend of hers. Otherwise she may be too frightened.

Bobby lee still missing: Update from William

Phil & I continued our search today for 2 hours posting flyers in the neighborhood near the vet as well as in Madame Estate where people "think" they saw her. I left the house at 6am this morning to search the same areas. Le Grande Marc...he and neighboring supermarkets allowed us to put the flyers with Bobby Lees info and numbers in the windows to reach a larger area of people. We will continue our search and again we thank Barbara and her contacts and friends on the island for helping us also. Thank you!
