GaKaye, either a troll or someone whos got a real problem. This whole thing isnt about st martin although this poster apparently wants to make it that way. So far he's the only one whose said crime is normal and should be accepted. Anyone whose got all those gripes with st martin should just give it up and go find another island. How do you spell T R O L L?

GaKaye amd to other who think I'm a troll - you are soooooo wrong, and I'm sure Barbara knows fully who I am.

I have been visiting SXM since 84 - saw Luis from beginning to end in 95 and saw the island completely devasted.

It is unfortubate to say the island was it's best just after the storm. People willing to help each other, the storm had a most cleansing effect - even Barbara saw and realized that. People helping people rather than trying to rip each other off.

So folks, don't think troll, rather think CRIME CONTROLL (mispelled intentionally.)

troll definition: someone (doesn't matter if the person is known or not) who posts controversial, inflammatory, irrelevant or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum or chat room, with the primary intent of provoking other users into an emotional response or to generally disrupt normal on-topic discussion by taking points and discussions out of context.

Tabbs

We have dumped thousands of dollars in SXM's interests. Starting with 16K at Divi 6 months after Luis - only to be imposed a special assessment of twice our yearly maintenance recently. Stored our belongings and such at Club Orient - to have them sold at a yard sale. My God, we weren't even on the island to be a victim of those crimes.

The real trolls exist on the island and people ripping people off, taking advantage of travellers.

Tabbs - I would really defend the island as soon as the people responsible for her actions also take action in cleaning up it's act.

Cut and Paste all you want about the definition of a troll - the issue is the crime that has become prevailant on the island - DO NOT SIDE STEP THE ISSUE - playing semantic issues. Evade the objective if the issue - crime - and turning this post into an isue about a troll - not the issue

Barbara, I was trying to go back on the link to see if it were any update but cannot find it. Do you know where it is, maybe in another section of that board?

Kind Regards,
Philippe

This post clearly stated that you believe that Barbara's post was trying to say that crime is OK on SXM because it exists everywhere. Barbara said nothing of the sort, nor did her posting this here infer that she accepts crime on St. Maarten, which we all know she does NOT.

In my opinion, your post is neither constructive nor friendly, and does not belong here. You appear to want to incite controversy where none was present.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. If there was one of those little hand clapping ichons i would give you a whole row of them. This poster wants to make a Puerto Rico thread about St. Martin and its not and wasnt meant to be. Whether you know Barbra or not this post is still NOT about crime in st martin but crime in Viecques, PR. And like already stated your not being constructive or friendly in the way your saying it.
