Flamingo Beach or Royal Palm

For a 3-night add-on in early May, I have the opportunity to stay at a studio unit at Flamingo Beach or a 2-bedroom at Royal Palm for the same price. Which place would you recommend for best room, beach and location?

Thanks!

I don't think you could go wrong with either choice. John

I agree..either choice.. Royal Palm is closer to restaurants etc within walking distance.
Flamingo is further back up the hill.
both are nice resorts

I'm partial to the Flamingo mainly because I feel they have a better beach and restaurant.

For ambiance, I would choose Flamingo only because, as stated, it's further back and thus more peaceful and quiet with a nicer beach. Flamingo is like a home-style type of atomsphere whereas Royal Palm is more of the high rise style atmosphere. Both are very nice but the fact that you would have a studio at Flamingo vs a 2 bedroom at the Royal Palm makes me think that you would then be sacrificing space for the slightly better of the 2 good choices. This is a tough one. I guess in the long-run, I would land up taking the Royal Palm ONLY because it's a 2 bedroom and I like alot of space. It's a nice resort and nothing to complain about (except maybe the hot water issue which would be a problem for me).
