I don't know about Le Taitu as I have not heard anything about the place in some time. It may still exist though...just no reviews. I heard only very good reviews of Spicy's so that would be worth the trip there I would imagine. It is still open. Rancho del sol has also gotten nice reviews and is still open as well. Not sure about Ti bouchon.

Ti Bouchen is a very good restaurant and MOMO is a wonderful host.Rancho del Sol on the hill near Orient was good when we were there last Feb. Its not as popular as GC restaurants. I can't comment on the other restaurant but I don't recall seeing it last yr.If Au Gain de Sol in the Cul de Sac is open its a good restaurant with less expense prices.I heard it was sold so it might not be open. I'll check if it is in a few days. good luck.

Thanks. When we passed by last Dec I also noticed it wasn't open.We passed by in the afternoon not at night. I heard last Feb they sold to the owners of a restaurant close by on the same side of the road.I'll be passing it everyday when we arrive next week and I will know for sure.

Taitu, Gran du Sel and Ti Bouchon are all open. Dined at all three about a week ago.

Thanks for the replies. Last year Le Taitu was excellent and reasonable.Rancho del sol was v. good - but did more takeout than sit down.

We will try spicy and ti bouchon (is it in the old Le Picolo building?). Do they both do 1 to 1????

Ti Bouchen is located in a house just before Villa Pizza . I don't recall if he does 1 for 1.

The prices on Momo's menu are in USD, so it eliminates the 1:1 or 1:1.25, etc. issue.

IMO Spicy is good but there are definitely better in GC, especially since a recent look at Spicy's menu made it seem among the more expensive places there.

I as glad to learn that Le Taitu has survived. Last year, I was worried they would not make it to the Radisson opening when they were closing several nights per week.

Au Grain de Sel sold, got many bad reviews, then closed, and now has reopened. Not sure if mgmt has changed again Will have to try it next week to see.

Of the restaurants the OP listed, they are all different, but IMO Ti Bouchon is in a separate league. Momo's current chef is fantastic and has earned his trust, so that he can spend the majority of his time hosting guests in the dining room. Momo's variations of frog's legs are amazing.
