Hi, We will be coming to St. Maarten next weekend for our 1st time and have reservations starting 2/1 @ the Cliff. My son and daughter in law fly in on the 31st. Any suggestions for a 1 night stay for them on the 31st before the rest of us arrive on the 1st reasonably priced and simple???? Thank you!!

You can try a few places near the airport like The Royal Turtle or the Horny Toad although some places have a minimum stay because of the expenses. I would put them up next door at Rainbow but I would have to charge more just because of the expenses involved so try the above 2 choices first. I'm sure one of them would accommodate them reasonably. I'm not sure how much the Sonesta Maho would charge but you can try that as well.

try Travel Inn also.
not the most luxurious place but doable for one night.

also try Turquoise Shell Inn

Have you asked the Cliff if they have anything? I don't know about them, but sometimes some of the hotels can accommodate for one extra night.

The Summit is so close and would be a good choice.

My brother got a "Walk-in" rate at Sonesta Maho for $175.00/night a couple of weeks ago.

id say maho because they would not need a car, they could just walk around, check out the area, and have many restaurants within a walk, plus bars and casino!

All the above and the choice of not one but two beaches - and no car required for any of it.
