Sylvia, glad you enjoyed it. I think it is fantastic but then I'm prejudiced!

CONGRATULATIONS ANNIE!!!

We had our chili cook off yesterday. There were twenty-one (21) entries.

And the winner was:...........................

ANNIE'S CHILI & BARBARA'S NOT YO CHILI

When our neighborhood newspaper (Over the Fence) comes out next month, I will scan and PM you the article. Everyone loved the story of where I got the recipe.

So, thank you again for sharing. It will always be a favorite recipe for me since that was so much humor involved and it is GREAT CHILI.

Sylvia and Annie,

It sounds to me as though you each were winners so sincere congrats to you both, and congrats also to those who got to sample and enjoy as well since they may have gotten the best of this whole deal.

Sounds like I'd best go back and make a copy of this recipe for future reference.

I won $500.00 donated to my favorite charity.

I have decided it will go to 'The Bone Yard', an organization that takes old computers, removes the usable parts and builds computers for children of low income families.

It is a good thing.

Sylvia, what a nice thing to do! That organization sounds wonderful. I could use something like that as I have a bunch of old computers and monitors hanging around my garage that I have no idea what to do with.
