Thanks for sharing your trip. Many of our favorites are also yours. We also discovered Karakters last month and love it. And Toppers is ALWAYS on our list!

And as for an great evening with Barbara and Dee.... I screwed up my last chance. I won't do THAT again! sad smiley

Thanks for the report and the pics. We didn't get to Karacters this trip, though we did drive by to find it on our last day. Will definitely made it there next trip.

I'm so jealous of you Denis! Happy New Year, sweetie. KARACTER and Topper's are my new fav's on the Dutch side. We have always liked the Driftwood but probably won't get much time at any of them this coming trip in April because we'll be planted on Orient the entire time and don't like to drive at night the distance.

We do look forward to 9 days in October on the Dutch side where we'll be "hitting" up all the Dutch favorites and hopefully hanging out with you guys and the rest of the October crowd.

Have fun at the Regatta and say Hello to the misses!

Just exactly where is Karacters? It isn't part of Marys Boon is it? We enjoyed some wonderful times at thatlittle bar with yummy appetizers and live music some days last March.

Karacters is past MB at the end of the rd. Walk onto the beach and look for the old bus/bar.
