My husband and I are coming to St. Maarten this weekend and are thinking about having someone take a picture of us (probably near the beach). We would like to have this picture made into a Christmas card while we are there and mailed from St. Maarten. Is there someplace close to Philipsburg (or in Philipsburg) to have this done? Also, how much is the postage from St. Maarten to the U.S. per piece?

I don't have the answer to your question, but from what I've heard, if you mail them while you're there, they might arrive in the US in time for next Christmas! smiling smiley. Neat idea, though! I hope you're able to make it work!

There is a place on Welfare Road that may be able to do this for you. It's near Bavaria Restaurant. I would make them postcards though........
and next to Pasta Cafe in Simpson Bay is a Post Office (small) where you can mail them.
Or you can use Mailbox Etc.

If you have a digital camera or have the photos made into digital, you could easily order Christmas cards on-line through Shutterfly. By the time you got home the cards would probably be on their way to you in the mail.
