I was there because Curtis needed a ride to work. I'm not a big fan of Bankie, in case you could not tell. Bad experience last time.

It was better than I expected - he was stoned out of his mind the last time - and 3 hours late!

No, I didn't get a CD. Not feeding the addiction.

I expected singing and dancing, but that didn't happen. It didn't seem like too many were paying attention, actually. But there were many there.

Another disappointing show for me anyway.

But it was free!

Hello Everyone, this is my first post but I am going to do a trip report. I was on the Island doing due diligence because I intend to move there, and my friend & guide took me to BBB for the free Bankie Banks Concert. It was the owner of BBB's 60th Birthday Celebration and free food was also served. The place was packed, it was hard to get a beer, but the crowd was friendly, happy and a good time was had by all. Bankie Banks looked and sounded in good form and plenty of us were dancing wherever we were standing. I certainly enjoyed my first concert on the Island, free or not. ><

BOOYAH//////HAAA HAAAA! Just happened to run across this thread......I thought it was ALL good!!! He represents a "place in time" JANICE JOPLIN--JIMMIE HENDRIX---and so on......I enjoyed ---Take Me Back To New Orleans... AND YOU DIDN'T KNOW ME WITH MY CLOTHES ON a few days later. HAAA HAAAA!!! Party was for Byron Holzheizen(sp) formerly of pinnochio's, paradise cafe and bongo byron's et.al but no relation to current BBB ownership. just a typical sxm birthday party.
