nah, the rain didn't start until after the cleanup was finished.
The large turnout was due to a well planned event and because people are finally beginning to get the environmental message.

Really was a big system. It took the first full hour of my flight from SXM to Miami yesterday before we were out of the clouds at 37,000 feet!

Didn't rain much Dutch side on Saturday - but Sunday! WOW! Vicki - saw Alex and they were looking for something to do. We offered to take them grocery shopping LOL. Tried to catch up with them but couldn't hook up later, so they must have figured it out.

Last night it poured late. Now I know why they call it the lowlands!

Sending you a PM

Works with Corollas too. Happened to us a few trips ago. What a strange feeling! We were near the entrance to the Towers. I fully expected to get wet feet!
Hope you are having a great time and enjoying your condo.

YES, we are! Well, except for the water outages, the need for a submarine etc. Kidding, it's all wonderful!

An absolutely gorgeous day today!

Elaine...do you think that the outages are Rainbow's issues or that side of the island in general? I would love to know if Sapphire and The Cliff have issues with the water as well. I doubt it and haven't heard of any trip reports mentioning this. I truly believe that Rainbow needs to have the water issues checked out. Too many people are complaining about water pressure on the property and I think they are at this point just assuming it's the water company's fault.

Doesn't the Cliff have its own water plan? I thought but I may be wrong.
I am confused why developpement shouldn't have there own, even Capt O. which is a small resort have one.
Actually it should be mandatory in the permit, it would alliviate (sp) a lot of problems.

Kind Regards,
Philippe

That should be mandatory, I agree.

Vicki - RBC tells me it's GEBE. I don't believe them.

Maybe we, as a group, should contact GEBE when we are there in December and ask them to visit the property to evaluate the issue. Do you think they would be willing to do this? I am sure, eventually, there will be a solution.

Well, I just wanted to follow up on my Nephew's trip...the sun did come out for the rest of the week and I truly think that we have another convert for SXM. He had a blast and loved Rainbow as well. Everything got straightened out, they couldn't have been nicer to them and he is so sad to be leaving tomorrow. I'm thrilled for him and his wife and friends.
