SSBB reopens..

Hey!

Possibly old news to many but the new venue is called Sunset Bar and Grill. The bathrooms have been redone and are spiffy. Drink prices are virtually the same except Heineken is $3.00. Mixed drinks $5.00. Most beers $4.00

Management is from the Caravanserai group according to reports. Looks like they will be riding the wave of business developed by previous owner of the lease.

Vanessa is at the bar and some of the old crew like Deo are still on board. Rowena is going to work for the TOPPERS group of bars in Simpson Bay or the Flamingo.

I seriously doubt any of the bar card perks will exist now.

At least it's open,although in a vanilla format.

Yeah but it will never be the same old SunSetBeachbar.. its lost the edge it had , i hope John can reopen someplace else on the island

Hey John,

From my source I understand they aren't serving food. Drink prices are basically the same. No Wi-Fi, webcams or tower radio. No entertainment as yet.

There will never be a replacement for SSBB but let's see what the new folks can do. Personally, I dislike vanilla....I can get that at Fridays or Applebees.

It'll be alright Denis, just hang on. I don't think it will be quite as vanilla as you think it is. I think it might still be a "work in progress". Nothing wrong with a laid back vibe. And, Percy's playing tomorrow night! So..... it might just be an ok place for you to rest your camera's and drink your pepsi after all! See you there! grinning smiley
