Path to Hapy Bay

I see in todays issue of FaxInfo that someone took a bulldozer to the path between Friar's Bay and Happy Bay. There is a picture of the partial road included. It seems they were stoped before they made it all the way but if this is opened up, a quiet place will be lost.

By putting in a walkway!!

It was a small way… … but the bulldozer passed by there. The pretty path which leads beach of Friar' S Bay to that of Happy Bay was completely disfigured this weekend by some not very scrupulous hearts which wished, seems it, to replace it by a road!

All the first part of the path disappeared, trees, flowers and rocks were torn off by the bulldozer which trenched of several meters broad. They would seem that the building site was carried out during the night of Friday to Saturday the last, it would have been stopped following the alarm given by the residents. The controller of the building authority should go on the spot this morning to control legality (not very probable…) building site. While waiting, the evil is made and one of the rare paths of the island was once again destroyed!
