You are in my thoughts B. I know this must be very traumatic for you. I also read on TTOL that Bruce's wife was attacked in their villa. This is out of control. I am looking for a new place to go to this year!

Barbara, my thoughts and prayers are with you and all of those who experienced this horrible act. My heart hurts with the news of such violent crimes on your island that we consider as paradise.

I am so very thankful you are ok, and it infuriates me that this has occurred. You probably don't remember, but we met at the happy hour at the Greenhouse last February, and I was so happy to finally meet the "Barbara"!! I so enjoy reading your blog, and you are always so thoughtful and kind with your helping remarks.

May you rest a bit easier knowing that you truly are in our thoughts and prayers.

I'm so sorry to hear what happened. We're coming down at the end of August and quite frankly....I'm pretty worried about it. I told my husband lastnight what had happened to you and he said "What the hell is going on down there?" I hope you get through this ok. It saddens me so much that all this crime is happening. I hope someone takes control soon. Good luck dear lady and when you feel up to it, keep us posted how things are going.

I am fine.
I had a good nights sleep, a few stiff drinks, a lot of ice cream,and I am fine.
it could have been so much worse, but no one was hurt thankfully.
Now I am just pissed off..I would like to find those punks and string them up.

I'm glad to hear that you are ok now. And what could not ice cream and a couple of good stiff drinks cure? LOL. Though it would be nice if it could cure all the crime that has been cropping up on the island. It is bad enough for the tourist but I feel so bad for all the local people that have to endure that. A tourist can leave and not go back but a local certainly can't do that. I pray that the police can get this under control.
