SSBB closing today

Just saw on another less friendly site that the SSBB is closing today-looked on their website and it certainly looked like they were taking everything apart on their webcams-very said

Yes very sad but I doubt it will stay closed for long. Maybe new management... It is a landmark (and also I believe in the Guiness Book - closest bar to the end of a runway) and one that could very well do profitably if managed correctly. Time will certainly tell but if someone does snatch it up, I wish them well.

from what I read they did not to leave but were forced out-anyone know why or by whom?

I think they lost their case against Island Government. This has been gong on for a while now.

it was island government irina or Caravanserai?
Caravnserai owns the location and they were leasing from Caravanserai.
I thought caravanserai wnated them out.

Actually I think it's government. Remember them not paying the taxes and stuff being auctioned off the year before last (I think).
When we went to Caravanserai to look at a unit they told us about BB and we asked about SSBB and they said no, they were staying. SSBB is outside the gates of the Caravanserai lot.
