by the way, I saw Mrs. Gibbs at the International Coastal Clean up.
She brought the children to help out.
She says the building is going well. She promised to send me some pictures

I believe the construction had been stopped for awhile because of money but I know they recently received some substantial donations so I think the construction will start again after the new yer.
I'll call Mrs. Gibbs after the holidays and double check.

update: I just spoke to Mrs. Gibbs. Construction on the home has started again and she is hoping that they will be able to mvoe into the new place by March.

I was just in SXM a week ago and wanted to pass on that the building of the new home has reached the 2nd floor. On each occasion I visited the men were hard at work. It was my pleasure to deliver clothing, educational dvd's, sports equipment and books that had been collected by my nursing unit. Ms Gibbs is a remarkable woman and has a very devoted staff caring for the children. I just wanted you to know your donations are making a difference.
