Radisson St. Martin to shuttle guests by boat

The new Radisson St. Martin Resort, Marina & Spa, scheduled to open in late summer, will offer a one-way, 30-minute water transfer by motor launch from Princess Juliana International Airport to the resort's marina.

The return trip to the airport is via sedan; the roundtrip transfer is priced at $90 per person.

The 189-room Radisson is in the final stages of an $80 million renovation on the site of the former L'Habitacion de Lonvilliers in Anse Marcel in the northwest corner of St. Martin.

Guests receive a personalized airport greeting, two minute mini-van ride to the dock, a boat ride of less that 30 minutes and a friendly welcome... Return to the airport by mini-van and will take 45 to 60 minutes. Service is provided by Rising Sun Tours through exclusive arrangements with the Radisson St Martin...

Awful expensive for the novelty.
It must be gorgeous to enter Anse Marcel from the water!
But, after a long flight, I just want to GET THERE!
It will be interesting to see how popular this option will be.

Actually, in high season it can take you longer than 60 minuts to go from the Airport to l'Anse Marcel, specially if you add the time you need to take the suttle and the rental car pick up. I agree that it is a bit pricey for what it is though...

especially if you are a family of four-cheaper to take a limo

I would take that $90.00 transfer in a NY second. The cab fare each way is $40.00+ so taking a boat ride sounds great to me.This is a great opening deal and since we always stay in Anse Marcel I would love to try it this Nov or Feb.La Habitation was our favorite hotel since 86 and we're looking forward to the new hotel and improvements.
