Boy toys at New Year's

Hey!

Most likely the most impressive "boy toys" arrive over New Year's at SXM, holiday playground for the rich and famous.

The cream gotta be Roman Abramovitchs' stable of high ticket gas guzzlers including his FEADSHIP, "ECSTASEA" and the 767 known world wide as "BANDIT"

Here's a couple of pics caught over the last two New Year's Holidays.

Caught the boat from Pelican and the plane from Maho.

Hey Wendy!

I do use PS to clean stuff up but altering is not in the future. Some very comical results are possible but I maintain my credibility.

It seems every "low fence" shot over MAHO prompts a dozen comments saying "You photo shopped that"

It's a constant issue that I don't have the patience to deal with.

For every believer there are 20 skeptics!

Den

You are correct about the skeptics and it is amazing what they don't believe is true yet they swallow obvious alterations because they want to believe it. Magazine covers are the worse offenders. They create scenes to add credence to a false story and people who live vacariuosly thru the Brads, Angelinas, Jennifers swallow this crap, yet discount real pictures (The DK Maho 747) with all sort of "Expert Opinions" and would not know how to open a photo in Photoshop.

There is a site that I used to participte call [photoshopcontest.com] that showcases what people can do with Photoshop. Professional digital artists use Photoshop to create most print ads and many of the sites that are on the web.

One of the most interesting events using Photoshop was a photo on a web site that showed children abused and the perp had his face twirlled to hide his features. One smart cop opened the photo in Photoshop and untwirlled it and now the creep is being tried in Thailand.

I will cut out and paste for a joke but I use Photoshop for work as I create web sites and do pro bono art work for young up and coming entrepeneurs who can't afford professional graphic artists.

If anyone is really interested in digital graphics they should check out the galleries here [www.advancedphotoshop.co.uk] and see what a really talented artists can do.

I am working now trying to colour Phillipe's postcards in Painter X which is another amazing digital tool where you can actually paint (not a filter)watercolours, crayon, chalk, oils, change the canvas. My dog Harly ate my digital pen and I am waiting for my new one to arrive so I can speed up the work as the mouse does not register pressure.

I hope that you keep posting your plane pictures, as I enjoy them as I am sure that so does everyone else hear, on a regular basis.

I had the right to remain silent...but I didn't.
