Villa Caribella or Royal Palm

Hi,
I am going to St Martin for my first time for a bachelorette party trip
with 6 other girls. We are debating bw staying at Villa Caribella or Royal Palm. I know RP is closer to beach etc but we want the nice amenties of a villa
but not sure how far out some of these villas can be. Does anyone have any advice?

IMO, and it is only my opinion, you would be better off at the Royal Palm.
Villa Caribella is a wonderful house though, but it is located in Tamarin Hill, which is a great gated comunity but pretty far away from everything and isolated, specially at night, and specially for 7 young "girls", since it is a "bachelorette Party trp" and I assume you do intend to PARTY...grinning smiley. The area of tamarin hill is gorgeous (during the day...) and I am sure you will be able to visit while you tour the island.
The Royal Palm is more centrally located, on Simpson Bay at the heart of the SXM's party strip. I would recommend it better in your case.
On the other hand, if I can afford a suggestion, and since you would like to have the nice amenities of a villa, why not looking for a Villa located in Pelican Key? It's within the same radius area than the Royal Palm, and some of them are as wonderfull than villa Caribella. Google "sxm pelican key villa rental" and I am sure you will find plenty of them. You can also look for a villa in Simpson bay, then google "simpson bay villa rental" instead...

Kind Regards,
Philippe

you can also check here at the bottom of the page by clicking on GoBeach vacations and see what Annemarieke has to offer in the Simpson Bay or Pelican key area.
I agree. probably that area is better for you..
much closer to everything.

Ah thanks for your input. That was what I was afraid of, if it'd be too quiet for us. i did a search on Simpson Bay Villas and came upon alot of condos at La Siesta. Has anyone heard of these condos?

Thanks!

If you decide to go with a villa, you could also look into the Beacon Hill area. That would put you very close to much of the Maho and Simpson Bay nightlife.

La Siesta is in the Baie Rouge area.. a very nice area but also a little isolated IMHO

There are a couple of new condo complexes on Simpson Bay Beach. Las Arenas, Palm Beach, La Siesta indeed, Coco Beach...

I keep editing this thing when I think of more. Just do look at this pricelist and search for Simpson Bay smiling smiley

Perhaps you could have the "best" of both worlds, look at Villa's in Pelican Key area - very close to everything - enjoy. Bare
