my father in law started with the barber chair and then Dee and Manfred both cut hair in there too.
and OMG that Risdon's ice cream! The best!

That's me, the eldest.
Whoever cut hair in the early 70's did a great job.....but don't ask me who it was......way too long ago.

The new proposed roundabout reminded me of the traffic light at the Mida$$ intersection. Trying to drive threw the intersection back in the DAYS wasn't fun, right.

For those of you who were patrons of David's Pub in Marigot in the late 1980's and early 1990's here's a photo of Daivd, his wife Tess, Neil Rooney, and Mike Tagg. David, being from Nottingham, England, the theme of this 1989 Carnival troupe was Robin Hood.

Back in the 80's & 90's the French side would print the days & times of the power outages in the papers. This was when they were improving the system because of the new hotels & demand. We were able to tell when it was turned on again by the sound of the drink blenders. The old DAYS.
